Arrival
There are no mentions of Tibalt appearing anywhere on Catagon in the past decade, but memory of him is still fresh in many people’s minds. Sometime before then Tibalt arrived on Catagon and terrorized innocent villagers in the areas near Richmoor. Farmlands were burnt to the crisp every other night and investigators would find mangled corpses of tortured people in basements, mounted on spikes, placed up like scarecrows or worse. Richmoor itself wasn’t safe either with people disappearing from the city with no trace, only for their displaced limbs to be found in some dark abandoned places outside the city. People were terrified, and just as things appeared to be coming back to normal the blood hunters got involved. They had arrived in the abandoned citadel of Brightstone several decades prior due to the areas high rate of supernatural occurrences and refurbished it into a mighty fortress. The blood hunters passionate hunt for Tibalt reignited his interest in Richmoor’s innocent populace and he would begin committing atrocities again but on a much larger scale than before, as if to spite the Blood hunters. Finally, after toying with them for months he turned his attention to the order itself. Tibalt brought the blood hunters to the edge of complete extinction. Of their three orders he obliterated one entirely and the other two barely survived by banding together as one. The Brightstone Citadel would have been destroyed entirely and the blood hunters would have become history were it not for some other powerful entity allying itself with the hunters and with their combined powers exiling Tibalt from the plane.
Modus operandi
Very few people even saw Tibalt as he liked to operate in the cover of darkness and wouldn’t risk open battles with many combatants if he could pick them off in smaller groups. Several villages were completely obliterated including Wolfwater and Newham. It is unknown where he resided, but it is known that he had devout followers who were after his defeat rounded up by the blood hunters and taken to undisclosed locations. His motives remain unknown but many believe that considering his propensity for senseless killing and torture he was just doing it for fun.
War against the Blood Hunters
Departure?
Our agents are on the lookout for any information regarding the dangerous planeswalker Tibalt, but news of his exploits and tortures have all but disappeared. It is possible that the information regarding his departure from the plane was accurate and that he is no longer on Catagon. The Blood Hunters, while still mostly in hiding, have begun to slowly resume their hunts from their new decentralized hidden headquarters and life in Richmoor is slowly returning to normal, but the pain of the recent horrors still weighs heavily on people’s minds.
